About Dr. Luz Hernandez
Luz Hernandez, DDS, is a skilled general and cosmetic dentist in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Dr. Hernandez prioritizes customer service in her practice and listens intently to each patient’s requests. She takes a holistic, minimally invasive approach to general and cosmetic dental treatments of all kinds.
Dr. Hernandez is originally from Colombia. After moving to the United States as a teenager, she graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with degrees in biochemistry and Spanish language and literature. She also attended the university’s dental school for her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Since finishing her formal education, Dr. Hernandez has continued to expand her repertoire with ongoing education and training. She brings the latest technologies and techniques to her private practice.
At Luz Hernandez, DDS, Dr. Hernandez enjoys transforming the appearance and oral health of her patients with advanced treatments like full mouth rehabilitation, crowns, veneers, digital smile design, teeth whitening, emergency dental care, and more.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, Adam and Nina. She also enjoys reading and trying new restaurants, and prioritizes God, her family, and her profession in everything she does.
