• Oral Cancer Screening: a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck to look for soft tissue irregularities or lesions.
• A thorough review of your medical history is an essential part of our comprehensive and oral examination. Our goal is to help you minimize or prevent systemic diseases that are caused or are exacerbated by the presence of oral infections.
• X-rays: We take x-rays when needed to help us detect cavities. We follow the ADA guidelines and we take x-rays every 12 to 24 months depending on the need.
• Periodontal Evaluation: We evaluate your gums and the surrounding bone structure which holds your teeth in place. This evaluation is closely related to the review of your medical history.
